SvelteKit Backend: Database, ORM & Storage Choices

People, hello! Someone at sveltekit still uses typeorm, or have all moved to prisma and drizzle? Used firebase (do not laugh, for the site I was enough), but firestore free covered and vk is also wise, looking where photos to drop. Thought on vps to download for photos minIO, and for data some orm. Can anyone co-orient in which direction to look?

Hi. Yes, everything is quite simple. In orm take what is convenient, but the easiest of all, as in my opinion, still prisma. With regard to object storage there are only 2 options: "your" solution (minio) or already ready to rent. In the second case there is everything coins and is considered for GB per month. In reg ru 2 rubles / GB per month was like.

Why PocketBase is Good for Your VPS

Yes, by the way, also a good enough solution. But if you don't have a big BD, then it's better without it, it's already overhead. In pb there are ready solutions for all kinds of authorizations, and through third-party services too and what else was, there's a lot of functionality, sadly I don't remember, but when I first encountered it was impressed. If you don't need it, then just work there with BD models is not more difficult than in prisma schemas. Well, my thought is that both can be good for you. If pb was obviously complicated and overloaded - there would be another message.
